We are an advisory firm with one focus – helping small and medium-sized businesses achieve their goals.  We help our clients raise capital and accomplish strategic M&A transactions.  Business services, consumer products, cannabis, health care, technology/telecom, and niche manufacturing are the industry verticals that we focus on.


Many of our clients are founder-led companies that haven’t been exposed to institutional capital yet.  We bring the expertise, track record, and relationships to assist them in taking that next step to sophisticated institutional investors, whether they be bank or non-bank lenders, family offices, venture capital or private equity firms.  Our clients also include established European companies that need our assistance navigating the US capital markets. 


Our clients typically generate $10 million or more of annual revenues and our transactions range in size from $5 million to $50MM.


We approach an assignment with the entrepreneur’s needs in mind – with a clean slate and no pre-conceived notions.  We thoroughly assess the business, long term growth plan, culture, and the wants and needs of its management team and shareholders to determine the right strategy.  Then we work to structure a transaction that positions the client for long term success.

Concentra was founded by Joe Adipietro.  Joe has over 25 years of experience in investment banking and corporate finance.  He started his banking career at Citicorp in 1992 after graduating from the University of Chicago with an MBA in finance and international business.  Joe worked in the Structured Finance division at Citicorp where he focused on arranging asset-based loans for middle-market companies. 


In 1996, Joe joined Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ) as one of the early members of the newly formed Senior Debt Group where he played a key role in establishing DLJ as a leader in the leveraged loan business.  In 2000, DLJ was acquired by Credit Suisse (CS) where Joe worked as a senior member of the Loan Capital Markets team.  Joe played a key role in establishing Credit Suisse as a leading lender in the lower middle market.  Since leaving CS in 2008, Joe has held senior roles at various boutique investment banking firms focused on lower middle market companies.


Throughout his career, Joe has successfully completed over $35 billion of lead-managed financings.  These transactions include leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings, dividend recapitalizations and re-financings for companies across a broad array of industries.  Joe’s clients have been a mix of privately-held, private equity-owned and public companies. 


Joe offers his clients a unique blend of bulge bracket experience and relationships, Main Street sensibility and a strong desire to help privately-held companies achieve their goals and objectives.
